This latest jacket from Samurai is based on vintage mechanic's jacket styles from the previous century. Samurai have updated this with a sleek fitting that pairs well with a modern style!

The fabric is a specially developed, 15oz silver colour selvedge I.D back satin, which has mild-slubby & strong horizontal textures...With time, this will age to a soulful look!

The green colourway has been accentuated with contrasting white threads. Triple stitch construction has been used along the sleeves, collar and yoke for added durability! This jacket also features a diagonal zipped chest pocket which is perfect for storing your daily small carry! The waist-level hand warmer pockets feature a diagonal-shaped opening that is more functional for daily wear.

Vintage-spec 'Waldes' zips have been used on the front placket and chest pocket for an added tasteful subtle detail. Hidden details include Samurai's signature silver selvedge I.D on the sleeve opening and front placket! The waist features iron doughnut button adjusters so you can get the perfect fit! These have been skilfully engraved with Japanese characters for the 'Matsu' tree, a symbol long associated with the history of Japan's samurai!

How We Measure

Pants and Shorts

Waist:

With the major buttoned up open the jeans and lay them flat like shown. Measure from the front where the major button closes to the back belt loop. Then double this measurement to achieve the waist measurement.

The way we measure is different from 'Side to Side', If you are not used to our method you should downsize by 1 inch.

For example, side to side measurement for The Flat Head 3002 waist is 28inch and using our method 29.25 inch.

Front Rise:

With the jeans lying flat measure from the crotch bar tack to the top of the waistband. 

Back Rise:

Spread out the crotch so the bar tack is visible, then measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband.

Thigh:

One inch down from the crotch measure flat across to the other side.

Inseam:

Flatten the leg and measure along the inseam from the crotch to the leg hem. 

Leg Openning:

Measure straight across the hem from side to side.

Tops

Shoulder:

Lay flat then measure from the shoulder's edge to the other shoulder's edge.

Chest:

Lay shirt flat and measure from pit to pit.

Sleeve length:

With the sleeve flat measure from the shoulder to the cuff.

Arm hole openning:

Measure from the shoulder down to the pitt.

Vertical length:

With the shirt facing down, Measure from below the collar to the bottom hem.
