Slowly woven on vintage knitting machines, this fabric has an irregular texture on the outer surface with a smooth interior that is soft like a towel. The sashiko warp threads have been woven using traditional Japanese weaving methods to create the pattern. With time, the indigo-dyed threads will gradually develop a high-contrast aging look, with many lighter shades of indigo appearing!
For a perfect fit, the waistband, collar v-insert, and underarms are constructed with a stretchy ribbing fabric made from vintage jacquard knitting machines. This provides next-level comfort and ease of movement while adding subtle tonal contrast! Details-wise, this sweatshirt features PBJ's signature hand-embroidered indigo leaf on the side seam!
