Momotaro Heavyweight "Green-Tea-Dyed" Sashiko Modified Type 2 Jacket

Based on Momotaro's classic modified type II denim jacket, this season Momotaro has switched up the recipe with an amazing heavyweight "green-tea-dyed" sashiko fabric!

This sashiko, a Japanese fabric traditionally used in martial arts uniforms, has been slowly woven on antique machinery to create a long-lasting material with amazing texture! This has been garment dyed with a special green tea dye to create a unique and tasteful look! With time, this one is sure to age to a soulful look, with a dotted texture thanks to the unique sashiko weave!

As usual, Momotaro's construction is top-notch, with engraved doughnut buttons and a combination of single needle and chain stitching for added durability! Speaking of details, the vegetable-tanned deerskin and screen-printed battle stripe arm design will age to a vintage look with time!

And something extra-special - this jacket comes with a sachet of tea, ready to drink! Sip your tea, whilst wearing your tea-dyed jacket for maximum steepage!

For a modernised style and fit, this jacket has a slightly longer vertical length and features two waist pockets to keep you cosy!

If you are looking for a quality type II jacket, with the charm of traditional Japanese fabrics and unique dyeing methods, this could be a perfect choice!
