Freewheelers 14oz "Vanishing West" 661XX 1956 Denim (Slim Straight fit)

Size Guide

Fit for a new generation!

Straight from the denim archives, Freewheelers has brought us another amazing recreation from the era when denim transitioned from being seen as primarily workwear to stylish clothing for the younger generation and a symbol of the coming rebellious era of the 60s!

This pair has been constructed with Freewheelers' specially-developed 14oz denim fabric with the perfect amount of mild slubby, rough texture thanks to the slow weaving process on vintage machines! The genuine indigo colour has been yarn-dyed, and will fade with time to a beautiful sky-blue colour with plenty of indigo shades in between!

As expected for any Freewheelers garment, this pair has plenty of details to keep you satisfied! The beautiful deerskin leather patch featuring the "Vanishing West" buffalo design pays homage to the classic Levi's design of the 1800s! The button fly is yellow-enamel coated to prevent rust and adds a tasteful pop of colour. With time these will naturally chip and age to a soulful look! The uniquely 'pointy' shaped rivets, add a rugged aspect to the denim while also enhancing durability for long-term wear!

Fitting-wise, this pair is some of the best slim tapered we have ever experienced! They fit more fashionable compared with standard 1951 601XX denim!

If you looking for a classic pair of Japan-made denim, with plenty of vintage soul these could be the ideal choice!
