A wonderful new texture created from excess sunburnt organic cotton fibres!
Each season, PBJ always impress us with their ingenuity to create new textures from unexpected materials.
For this series of denim, PBJ has made use of the excess of the typically leftover fibres when long fibre cotton is harvested. This cotton has an amazing irregular texture and thanks to being left out in the sun to be scorched by the UV light, the colour has shifted to a dark brown hue.
For the warp, the fibres have been dyed with grand indigo, making up for overall deep indigo with a natural brown hue that's not oversaturated.
With time, you'll see some high contrast fading with a natural brown core exposed for a unique look!
This fit is great for those who like a tapered look but prefer a slightly higher rise with a more accommodating waist and thigh section.
